in this digital age where sales numbers display nowhere near a true representation of how many people are listening to an artist or how many people are fans, it’s exceptionally important to show your support. how are you representing yourself as a fan- of music in general, of a band, of an album, of a local scene, etc?
it’s like the old adage “actions speak louder than words”. your actions really are casting a vote, so even if you can’t afford this or that, please make sure you’re actively finding ways to show your support and gratitude.
